I have been in the Internet Marketing industry for nearly a decade now, starting as a writer for an Australian company in 2010, and eventually learning the ropes of SEO and Digital Marketing.

While I have genuine experience in writing, SEO, and Internet Marketing, I also have exceptional communication skills, thanks to my experience in teaching English grammar to foreign students.

WORK EXPERIENCE​​
2015-Present​
Upwork Freelance Writer
It was in January 2015 that I started exploring Upwork, which was still Elance-Odesk at that time. I was able to work on a few writing projects every now and then and eventually received my "Top Rated" badge in 2019.
2015-2017
Ghostwriter/Proofreader/Editor
I accepted ghostwriting projects in 2015, first for a website called Servingjoy.com, and then later on for AppreciateGoods.com and TheImpressiveKids.com. In 2018, I was hired by a company called Ipresence as a proofreader/editor. It was only for three months (Feb-May), but it was a fruitful experience for me.
2010-2015​
Digital Marketing Specialist
My journey as a freelance writer started in 2010 when I got a job as a writer for an Australian-based company, which lasted for a few months. My breakthrough came when I was hired by another Australian-based company (Mercurian Media, former LTSEO). I started out as a junior writer, but later received training to be a supervisor of a team of writers and digital marketing specialists. I resigned in 2015, but I can say that many of the things I know, I have learned during my time with Mercurian Media.
2015-2018
Associate Pastor
I have always been actively involved in our local church, The City Iloilo. In 2015, I was hired as Associate Pastor, with much of my work focused on administration and management. As a pastor, I was able to put my writing skills to work, writing sermons once in a while and creating discipleship materials.
EDUCATION
2017-Present
Central Philippine University College of Theology
I am a devout Christian and once worked as an associate pastor in our church in Iloilo City. In 2017, I decided to get formal training and enrolled in the College of Theology in one of the prestigious universities in the Philippines, Central Philippine University. My training in the seminary has helped improve my writing and communication skills, which I find a huge advantage for me as a freelance writer.
2000-2008
University of San Agustin College of Engineering and Architecture
My being computer-savvy is a result of my experience as a Computer Engineering student at the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City. This, too, I find an advantage for someone like me who spends a huge amount of time working in front of the computer whether as a writer, an online tutor, or a digital marketing specialist.
Notre Dame of Marbel University
1992-2000
I attribute much of who I am as a person and as a writer right now to my early years being trained at one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines, Notre Dame of Marbel University. There, I was exposed to beautiful literature, which fostered my love for learning.
